One of my favorite parts of the publishing process is watching a cover come together. And for Devil of the Deep, this was a particularly beautiful process.

We met with our graphic design team a few months ago to talk through all of our ideas and to iron out a direction we wanted to go, but during that meeting, Falencia and I saw a piece of art on our Graphic Design Director's mood board and we both knew right then and there that that was the cover.

Charlotte--our graphic director--reached out to the artist and the rest is history.

Do you see what I mean? Now that I've seen this, I genuinely can't imagine any other cover for this book.

It was created by the incredibly talented Jasmine Green, an artist out of Pitsburg. And I am excited to announce that it looks like we are going to be planning an event where you will all get to meet her and hear all about where this piece came from! More on that later!

For now, I want to just celebrate this amazing cover and hear what you all think!!!
